CT-334
Ceramically Bonded Aluminum
Product
Description
CT-334 filler is a unique water-based,
ceramically bonded inorganic compound which has been used
successfully by casting manufacturers and powder coaters to
fill voids, porosity and other surface defects in either aluminum
or ferrous metal castings. In appearance and performance,
CT-334 is the equal of an unpatched casting, thereby eliminating
common powder coating problems and enabling casting manufacturers
to avoid costly repairs or replacement.
Advantages
- Extremely
easy to use in single component form and completely water-soluble.
Ideally suited for aluminum castings, providing the finished
appearance of an unpatched item.
- Eliminates
the typical problems inherent in coating any porous or defective
castings.
- Enables
casting manufacturers to avoid scrap and costly repair procedures.
- Withstands
temperatures in excess of 1000°F without cracking, shrinking
or losing adhesion.
- Ideal
for aluminum and non-ferrous castings, providing finished
appearance of an unpatched item.
- Eliminates
need for costly repair or replacement of defective castings.
- Eliminates
common problems associated with powder coating porous or
defective castings.
- Once
cured (at 350°F), CT-334 may be ground, machined or
overcoated.
- Outstanding
performance at temperatures in excess of 1000°F.
- Easy-to-apply
single-component compound.
- Water
soluble for easy clean-up.
- Ideal
filler for powder coating.
- Repair
defects in aluminum and ferrous castings.
