Ceramic Coating Services
At Corro Therm we don’t just powder coat to prevent oxidation, but to add aesthetic quality to your product. Ceramic coatings are perfect for parts that will be exposed to temperatures in excess of 1,000°F. A coating for an exhaust system often calls for a ceramic coating and ceramically bonded aluminum-filled coatings are ideal for manifolds and headers. This coating also meets military specifications. We have ceramically coated large components for oil rigs to power transmission systems to gas turbine blades for some of the largest companies in the USA.
We can also apply dry film lubricants, Teflon®, Xylan®, military specification coatings including CARC (MIL-DTL-53072), and other government specifications (Cage Code 7Y015). If a simple epoxy coating or polyurethane coating is what you need, give us a call! We’ll be happy to assist in finding the right coating.
Do you have a high volume project that requires economical pricing? Our unique dip spin coating process maybe the answer. Dip spin is excellent for automotive, industrial and commercial fasteners, etc. Contact us so we can discuss your dip spin coating needs.
PTFE Coating for Metals
Does your project require a non-stick, corrosion and chemical resistant coating? In addition to military coatings such as CARC and other spray-applied coatings, our staff is experienced in applying PTFE coatings. The primary PTFE coatings used are Teflon® by DuPont®, Xylan® by Whitford®, and our own Ryton®-based (PPS) CT-500 series coating. These coatings can be sprayed onto a variety of metals including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel and even plastic. A majority of Teflon® coatings require primers. However, there are several one coat products available. Whitford’s Xylan can be applied direct to metal while our more durable CT-500 series coating is a multi-coat process.
Maybe you need to have Teflon® Impregnated Cloth applied to bearings, shafts, etc. If so, Corro Therm is experienced at this unique application.
Polyurethane Coatings for High Performance
Perhaps you have a project that requires a high performance coating or specialty polyurethane coating. We’ve got you covered. Not only can we apply polyurethane, but our facility applies all types of coatings from zinc-based primers and aluminum-based high temp coatings to high performance epoxy coatings and polyurethane topcoats.
We have access to a wide variety of industrial and protective coating systems, including high temperature coatings. If you have a special coating requirement, call us! We’ll do the research and find you the coating system that best fits your need.
